Case Information

Connecticut Reapportionment Commission petitioned the Connecticut Supreme Court for a deadline extension. The commission requested the deadline be extended from Nov. 30 to Dec. 21st 2021. The Court granted the petition.

The reapportionment commission failed to establish a new congressional map by the deadline. In response the Court appointed a special master to complete the process. The special master filed their report and redistricting plan on Jan. 18, 2022.

The Supreme Court adopted the special masters plan on Feb. 10, 2022.
