Overview
On Oct. 7, the state legislature approved a new congressional districting plan. On Oct. 13 the Governor announced that he would permit the new districts to become law without his signature. According to the state Attorney General [Opinion 2021-092], the maps will become effective on Jan. 14, 2022.
