Case Information

A federal court challenge to the constitutionality of remand instructions from the New Mexico Supreme Court in a separate case–Maestas v. Hall. Plaintiffs alleged the implementation of the remand instructions would violate the principle of “one person, one vote” and would be an unconstitutional use of racial considerations.

On 04/13/12, Plaintiffs stipulated to voluntarily dismissing the case.
