Case Information

A state court challenge to the composition of the pool for Arizona’s new independent commission, based on the alleged ineligibility of two potential nominees.

On Oct. 29, 2020, the trial court declined to grant a temporary restraining order delaying the commissioner selection process.  On Dec. 4, 2020, the trial court dismissed the challenge with prejudice.
