Case Information

The Attorney General of the State of Hawaii petitioned the Supreme Court of Hawaii to extend redistricting deadlines because of the federal government’s delayed release of 2020 census data. The Supreme Court granted the petition and extended the deadlines. The Reapportionment Committee must now have preliminary plans available by January 8, 2022 and final plans completed by February 27, 2022.
