Case Information

A state court challenge to the state legislative and congressional maps, on equal population and partisn gerrymandering grounds.  On Jan. 19, 2022, an amended complaint removed the challenge to the congressional maps, and added an allegation that state legislative maps paid insufficient attention to county boundaries.

On Mar. 24, 2022, the court denied plaintiffs’ motion for a preliminary injunction.  The parties then stipulated to a dismissal, and on June 16, 2022, the court dismissed the case with prejudice.
