Case Information

A state court challenge to the state legislative and congressional maps. The plaintiff’s claim the maps violate the Nevada Constitution and the U.S. Constitution on equal protection grounds.

An amended complaint was filed in Jan. 19, 2022 removed the congressional challenge and seeks only injunctive and declaratory relief against the state legislative maps. Plaintiffs moved for preliminary injunction on Feb. 1, 2022. The Nevada State Legislature moved to intervene on Feb. 14, 2022.

On Mar. 9, 2022 the court made a bench ruling denying the preliminary injunction.
