Opinion extending deadlines
A state court challenge to the existing deadlines for redistricting in the state constitution, in light of the anticipated delay in the delivery of Census data.
On July 17, 2020, the state Supreme Court granted the petition, and extended state deadlines commensurate with the anticipated Census delay. With the Census data delayed until Sept. 30, 2021, the final district lines will be due Feb. 14, 2022.
