Case Information
** This challenge was heard alongside, but not consolidated with, Adams v. DeWine. **
A state court challenge to the congressional plan, alleging partisan gerrymandering and improper splitting of county boundaries under state law.
On Jan. 14, 2022, the state Supreme Court agreed, struck down the congressional plan, and remanded for the drawing of a new plan. A new plan drawn on Mar. 2, 2022, drew a follow-up challenge, but the state Supreme Court determined that a new complaint would be necessary to challenge that new plan.
