2020 New York Maps
Overview
As of 2014, New York’s congressional and state legislative lines are drawn by an independent commission, subject to modification by a supermajority of the state legislature. (Democrats currently hold a supermajority of both houses).
On Sept. 15, the commission published two sets of maps for congressional and state legislative districts—one by the Democratic commissioners (called “Letters”) and one by the Republican commissioners (called “Names”).
