Case Information
A state court challenge to a proposed redistricting ballot initiative, on the grounds that it would be an unlawful unfunded mandate and that the petition’s description of the initiative’s effect is inadequate.
On Mar. 6, 2024, the court voided the initiative petition on both challenged grounds. On May 10, 2024, the state supreme court affirmed that decision.
