Case Information

State court challenge to state legislative districts, alleging violations of the state constitution by dividing more counties than necessary.

On Nov. 23, 2021, the state Supreme Court consolidated the case with Ada County v. Denney, and on Dec. 17, 2021, further consolidated the case with Stucki v. Denney, and Allan v. Denney.

On Jan. 27, 2022, the state Supreme Court rejected all of the challenges.  The U.S. Supreme Court denied Ada County’s petition for certiorari on Oct. 3, 2022.
