Case Information
State court challenge to state legislative districts. Plaintiff, a former state legislator, alleges that the Idaho Commission for Reapportionment violates Art. III ยง 5 of the state constitution because it splits too many counties. The court consolidated the case with Ada County v. Denney, Stucki v. Denney, and Allan v. Denney.
Oral arguments occurred on Jan. 14, 2022. On Jan. 27, 2022 in a unanimous decision the Court upheld the maps.
