Order adopting congressional plan
Case Information
A state court petition by the state’s backup redistricting commission to extend the deadline for drawing congressional maps to Dec. 21st, 2021.
On Dec. 9, 2021, the state supreme court granted the petition, but when the backup commission did not draw a new congressional map by the extended deadline, the court took control of the process. On Dec. 23, 2021, the state supreme court appointed a special master to draw a congressional plan, and on Feb. 10, 2022, the court adopted the special master’s plan.
