Case Information
A state court challenge to the use of the 2025 congressional plan pending a potential referendum on the legislation.
On Mar. 27, 2026, the trial court dismissed the case, finding that the submission of a referendum petition alone was insufficient to invalidate a statute, and that the petition would have legal effect only when it was certified that sufficient signatures had been submitted. On May 12, 2026, the state supreme court affirmed that dismissal.
