Case Information

State court challenge to state legislative districts as unconstitutional partisan gerrymanders. Plaintiffs allege that the Tennessee General Assembly and Gov. Lee split more counties than necessary to create House districts with roughly equal populations and also numbered Senate districts nonconsecutively, in violation of the state’s constitution.
