Case Information

A state court challenge against the congressional plan. Plaintiffs claim the plan violates the state equal protection clause (Article II ยง 18).

The Plaintiffs moved for a preliminary injunction on Feb. 3, 2022.

Defendants’ moved to dismiss the claim on Feb. 18, 2022.

The trial has been delayed due to repeated judge recusals in the Fifth District. On Mar. 30, 2022 a Ninth District judge was assigned to the case.
