Case Information

A state court challenge to the 2025 congressional plan, based on an alleged state constitutional prohibition on mid-decade redrawing, state provisions on compactness, and state provisions on equal population and contiguity caused by a duplicated precinct placed in two different districts.

On Mar. 12, 2026, after a trial on the merits, the court rejected each of the claims.  On appeal, on May 12, 2026, the state supreme court affirmed that rejection.
