Case Information

State court challenge to the 2023 congressional and state legislative districts as violating the unenumerated state constitutional right to fair elections based on the partisan design.

On June 28, 2024, the trial court dismissed the case, finding the issue to be a nonjusticiable political question under the state constitution.  That decision — and a cross-appeal on fees — are now up on appeal.
