Case Information
A state court challenge to Virginia’s state legislative map, on the grounds that the map violated state constitutional compactness standards.
On Mar. 31, 2017, the trial court rejected the challenges to the state legislative map based on the compactness provision of the state constitution. On May 31, 2018, the Virginia Supreme Court affirmed that decision.
