Case Information

A state court challenge to the congressional districts under the state constitution, based on the assertion that districts were designed to insulate incumbents from competition in a manner that violates the state constitution.

On Apr. 28, 2026, the three-judge state court dismissed the case, finding the partisan composition of political districts to be a nonjusticiable political question.  That decision has been appealed to the state supreme court.
