Case Information
Federal court challenge to Legislative District 15 (Yakima Valley), alleging the unjustified predominant use of race in violation of the Constitution.
In light of the decision in Soto Palmer v. Hobbs finding a VRA violation of LD15, the court dismissed the claim as moot on Sept. 8, 2023. A direct appeal to the Supreme Court is pending.
