Case Information

Federal court challenge to Georgia’s congressional and state legislative districts. Plaintiffs allege that the state’s new districts dilute the voting power of Georgia’s minority population in violation of ยง 2 of the VRA, and are racial gerrymanders in violation of the 14th and 15th Amendments.

The case was consolidated with Common Cause v. Raffensperger on Feb. 3, 2022.
