A federal court challenge to existing malapportioned maps anticipating legislative failure to redraw lines after the census.
After a congressional map was enacted in special session in April 2022, plaintiffs amended their complaint to challenge the enacted map as the product of intentional racial discrimination. A bench trial was held from Sept. 26-Oct. 3, 2023.
